About Healthcare Investment Services

Healthcare Investment Services operates within Institutional Property Advisors and represents owners of investment real estate nationally. Since 2010 we have closed more than 4 million square feet valued in excess of $3 billion across 30 states, backed by the research, capital markets, and buyer coverage of a national platform.

Medical office buildings, physician sale leasebacks, surgery centers, and hospital monetization are our deepest specialization. We apply the same process to office, industrial, and net lease assignments, much of that work sourced through longstanding developer and ownership relationships.

Every assignment gets a marketing strategy, research package, and buyer list built for that asset. We approach buyers at the principal level.

Meet Anthony Lunceford

Anthony Lunceford is a Senior Managing Director at IPA. He has worked in commercial real estate since 2007 and founded Healthcare Investment Services in 2010, building it into one of the most active healthcare investment sales practices in the country.

From 2007 to 2010 he handled acquisitions and dispositions for Ballad Health, representing the system as user and occupier across Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. Sitting inside a health system, evaluating sites and negotiating exits against clinical and operational demands, still shapes how he advises physician groups and health systems today.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Tennessee, the CCIM designation earned in 2009, and the SIOR designation earned in 2014.

Anthony lives in Nashville with his wife and two children. Outside of work he enjoys traveling with his family and rarely misses his daughter’s lacrosse games or his son’s wrestling matches.
